    SQL Database Integration

    Ok Guys,

I started working on a new project (C# code) with Sql database integration.
I have a secondary datasource (sql) and have a repeating table within my form. The problem is that when loading the form directly all rows from the database are shown in the repeating table. What I want to have is that the query starts running not befor two fields are filled which represent the where clause of the query. Does someone have any idea how to do that. The query should start running after a button gets clicked or through an OnAfterChange event of one of the textboxes.

    Thx

Okay the query works in the onclick event now i just need to know how to avoid loading data into the repeating table when the form loads.

Okay I found a workaround, I just hide the repeating table as long as the two fields aren't filled and the qurey ran.
But still if someone has a better way please let my know.

Hmm or do I just have to disable the automatically retrieve data checkbox

    Hi Nukkumatti,
    U r right.
When u create a dataconnection, finally u will see a checkbox called "Automatically retreive data when the form is opened".
Unchecking it will enable u to prevent data retreival onload.
    Regards,
