    Please help me...

    Dear Experts,

What should I do if I would like to do like this:

I create a button called "Choose". When I click this, it will show another pop up window which is show the VENDOR ID and VENDOR NAME. which is 100 list. If I select one of them and double click on it, it will put that selected VENDOR NAME on the text field on the InfoPath form...called txtVendorName.

What should I do then?....Or maybe, you have another simple way....

Thank you for your kind helps...

    Hi,
One way is to change your txtVendorName to a dropdown and bind the list to that dropdown. There is no use of choose button.

If your desing permit a dropdown then I think taskpane is the way to go.
When you click on the "Choose" button show the taskpane with VENDOR ID and VENDOR NAME values. Have a select button beside each of the row. Write code in such a that when you click on select button that button onclick code will copy data to the "txtVendorName" field.

    Hi,

To bind the list to dropdown control follow the below steps,
    1. Double-click the Drop-Down List Box control.
    2. In the list box entries area select "Lookup values in a dataconnection to a database ,webservice, a file , sharepoint library or list".
    3. choose the list from the dataconnection dropdownlist(i.e,list you want to bind to the dropdown).
    4. Click the Select XPath button to the right of the Entries field.
    5. Select the node that will be used to populate the values, and then click OK.
6.Click OK to close the dialog box.

I hope this will work for you,

    Thanks.
