    repeating table problem

    My problem.
I have repeating table with one drop-down formant and text
field. When choose for example from drop-down formant name, in the text
field apears forname of the same person. All the field are linked to the
secondary source (SQL base). and now I paste next row in my table. And again,
choose name and suprise...., in text field appers wrong persons forname. It's
depending what I choose in first row. For example, I choose first name on the
list, in first row OK, but in the second when choose name in field apperas
person forname from the first row. When I in the first row choose the last
name on the list, in the second and other rows all works good.
I send data after filling all rows (1-4).

    thanks

Try using a function to access the correct information from the current row.

*Double-click the textbox, and then click the function button (Fx)
*Click Insert Field or Group, choose the drop-down node, and click OK several times

I hope this works, let us know if you have any more questions!

    Thanks for reply

I don't want to have the same value in the textbox and dropdown field.
I have person for example John Smith in my secondary source. When I choose John in dropdown, in the textfield must show Smith. Next row next person. In first row works good but next not good. It's depends what was choosen in the first row. I read about current() function.

If the last name and first name are split into two nodes, such as firstName and lastName, then you can set the drop-down to use firstName as the Display Name and lastName as the Value. This way, when you set your textbox to reference the drop-down it will get the Value.
