    Error Uploading xsn-template

    Hello everybody!

I have a problem uploading the xsn-file. It says:

"form template has not been correctly published, rerun wizzard"

however I've done this a thousand times and nothing seems to work.
The form worked when I published it as a site content type and to the library, but now I have managed c# code within the form which needs to be admin-aproved.

    Has anyone a clue?
Thanks a lot for your help!

    Best regards,
    Martin

    Hi Martin,
This is one of the new "features" of the MOSS 2007 Forms Services. If the form has code it requires an admin deploy. A true pain in the patootie if you ask me. Anyway, hopefully you can summon the admin gods for some enlightenment... you could also check your log file - look for a post from David Airapetyan for info on the location of that. Cheerios!

    Re: Error Uploading xsn-template

    Hi again!

I've found my problem to this topic:

I had another data source referenced in the Submit-Button and therefore there was a mismatch and couldn't be uploaded.

The thing I find very strange is, that if you wanna deploy a form to MOSS 2007 (at least as far as I am concerned) you have to save the source data files to the local machine, then deploy it (the form) locally to the same folder. Afterwards you can upload the xsn-file. I found this behaviour very strange.

Does Sharepoint make a difference between deployed xsn-files and just designed xsn-files?

    Cheers,
    Martin
