When you say you updated from the browser what do you mean? Did you make edits in the form then click save or submit?

    Re: Error while submitting !!!

Do you have a user picker in your form? The logs you pasted seem to indicate an error related to retrieving active directory user properties.
It would be nice if you could attach your form and/or a screenshot of the error you are getting, as well as little more details on how you're getting the error.

    Re: Error while submitting !!!

I figer out that problem not in submitting. Problem is in closing...
I create some simple form with just one button, wich in Rules has Rule action "Close". When I click to button I see "The form has been closed". That`s all... :(((

    Re: Error while submitting !!!

I am not sure I understand what the problem is. You have a button that is supposed to close the form. When you click it, the server tells you that "the form has been closed". Are you expecting a different behavior? I do not believe that the Forms Server would close the browser window (like the InfoPath rich client would do) but it's pretty much equivalent: you have closed your form and lost all the data, unless you have saved. This is by-design (when you choose this action, it says that "prompting the user to save on close is not supported"). Once the form has been closed, you can safely close that browser window/tab.

Let me know if I understood you well.

    Re: Error while submitting !!!

Actually, I am not sure why you are seeing this behavior. Did you open the web from directly after publishing it? Here is what I tried:

    1. Design a form in InfoPath with a "close button"
    2. Publish it to a new document library
    3. Set the document library to open forms in browser (as opposed to the rich client) via advanced properties
    4. Create a new document in the library
    5. Click on the "close" button

Result: the browser returned to the document library

However, the following steps will result in "form closed":

    1. Design a form in InfoPath with a "close button"
    2. Publish it to a new document library
    3. At the last step of the Publish Wizard, click on "Open this form in the browser"

In that case, the form will indeed close without bringing you back, because there is no "back" to go to: a new browser window was open. However, I belive this scenario is mostly for testing purposes because your real form users will not open this form this way (they will do it from the doclib instead) so you should be fine.

Let me know if this addresses your issue! :)

    Re: Error while submitting !!!

Well, it`s almost my issue. I don`t public my form to some document library. I public it as content type. My form is full trusted, so I need to approve it, what I seccesfully done (verifyformtemplate, uploadformtemplate)... So I don`t see any "Open this form in the browser" check boxes.

    I am in despair...

P.S. Thanks that you trying to help me...

    Re: Error while submitting !!!

I see, sorry, I didn't notice that you have done admin deployment. Still, I am not getting the issue you are seeing. This is what I have done:

    1. Go to the Sharepoint Central Administration, upload my form
    2. Activate it into my personal site collection

At this point, the form is available in the FormServerTemplates but you cannot save it. Still, if you go to FormServerTemplates and fill it out, after you click close, you should be back in FormServerTemplates.

    3. Create a new document library
    4. Add my template as its Content Type

Now I can create new instances of my form from the document library. Close always brings me back.

If you are not getting the same behavior, please describe in detail what you are doing.

    Re: Error while submitting !!!

I have 2 buttons on my form. First is button "Submit", wich has 2 rules (submit and close, with no code). Second button is "Close", wich has only one rule (close action, with no code).
So when I create a new form and click "Close", everything is ok, and I go back to document library... But if I create new form, fill out field, click submit I return to document library again. So everything is cool, but if I open this form again and click "Close" I get this situation ("The form has been closed") :( Maybe something is wrong with my SP ?
