Populate a drop down with values from a list

    Hello,

I have another issue while integrating a Infopath form with Sharepoint.
I need to have several drop downs populated with values from other lists - and then entered into a different list.Let's say I have drop downs 1 and 2 populated with values from List 1 and List 2 and I would like to enter into List 3 the values selected from the two drop downs.I have created the form and it displays the drop downs correctly. However it seems not to store data entered in that particular fields although I mapped correctly the control names with the List 3 columns.
Also, if enter data manually from sharepoint it will not display it when I call the getListItems function and have it to be displayed - the two drop downs do not take the values.
Do you have any idea how to fix this?

    Thank you in advance,
    Monica

Re: Populate a drop down with values from a list

    Hello,

I found out the answer to my question by myself : you should just select the Infopath form to send the ID of the element as a value (display the field name but send to the sharepoint list the ID where the item can be found) and it should work properly.

Now I have a different question (I will also post it as a new topic) :
how can you automatically set a date-type fields value to tomorrow's date?
I noticed you have the formula for today() but is there a way you can automatically set it to take today()+1?

    Thank you,
    Monica
