Anyone have any idea how to cahnge the Contact List to Link to Company instead of Last Name?

Hi Taen, Which contact list do you mean? I'm not aware of a contact list in InfoPath.

It is a Sharepoint List type. Contact.

It also allows importing from Outlook and linking to Outlook. Was not sure hoe much experience people had with Sharepoint on this forum but I know that mmost people who use InfoPath use Sharepoint at some point.

Ah ok. When you say you want the list to link to Company instead of Name I'm not sure what you mean. When you connect to a SharePoint contact list from the InfoPath data connections wizard you should be shown a screen to select the columns from that list you want to pull down. If you have a company column there you can select it.

This has nothing to do with InfoPath.

When you create a new Contact List type in WSS the default editing field is "Last Name" and it won't let you cahnge it from what I can tell.

I wanted to know if there is any way I can set a different field as the default "link to edit" field

no worries if noone knows...I might just code a new contact list type.
