    Hey,

    That new document button is actually a piece of scripting that launches the template behind the forms folder.

    If you switch to Exploere View, you will see a form folder. This form folder contains a number of files and a template (either a .doc, .xls or .xsn)

    By default, when you create a Sharepoint document library the template is a word document.

    I am not sure if I answered your question. You can always copy the Address URL for the page with the new Document button and add it as a link on another portal site provided that the users have proper access for that link.

    Is what do it I am searching....

    If you put the cursor on the "new Document button" or "copy shortcut" the link ll be "javascript:WPQ1createNewDocument();".
    And with this I can´t create a new link :/

    Thanks Mb

    As mbenbow has explained the address is

    <address of webpage>\forms\<template name>

    From what I gather what you want is a way to create new form from somewhere else in the site. The easiest way to get the correct link is to click "Modify Settings and Columns" then you will see the hyperlink to the XSN displayed at the top. Just copy that URL and use that in your link elsewhere.

    Note the disadvantage to this is that when users click the link they will get prompted to open or save the template. They MUST click OPEN or else the template won't work. As mentioned the button uses script to avoid this and so the button itself technically doesn't have any actual link.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
    Now I understand :)

    Only one problem, I can't save in the server.

    I tried other solution and have sucess, I put this code in the link:

    function XcreateNewDocument()
    {

    var strTemplate = "http://server123/sites/proaf/grh/ap/declaracaodependentes/Forms/template.xsn";
    var strSaveLocation = "http://server123/sites/proaf/grh/ap/declaracaodependentes";
    var strProgIDs = "SharePoint.OpenXMLDocuments";
    var strTemplates = escapeProperlyCore(strTemplate, true);
    var strSaveLocations = makeAbsUrl(strSaveLocation);
    createNewDocumentWithProgID(strTemplates,strSaveLocations,strProgIDs,true);

    }
