    Eliminate Comma from Sharepoint Column

One of my form fields contains a 6 digit project number. When this is displayed in the Sharepoint library it shows up as 123,456. On my form it does not include the comma and I do not want the comma in the library. How can I prevent this from happening?

    TIA

You could try displaying the number as a 'single line of text' instead of a number.

    Hi dlgross,

    Follow these steps:
    1 Open Manifest.xsf file.
    2 Go to list properties.
3 Change the project number field type to ‘String#%92.

By doing this your project number field don#%92t include comma in Library.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
Matt, I could not figure out how to change the display to a single line. How can this be done?
Rajani, I implemented your suggestion by Right clicking on the text box and changing the DataType property from Whole Number to String and this worked.

    Hi Dlgross,
Matt faus tried to explain the steps that you have done, i.e, to change the data type to Text (String) by double clicking on the text box.

    Thanks.
