    Picture control reducing image quality?

Hi! I am currently experimenting with the Picture Control. It seems to me, when I compare the size of the attached jpeg file with the size of the form instance xml document, that the image size/quality is reduced when attached to the form. Is it possible to have the picture attached without reducing its quality? Thanks for any help!

If some key meta data/fingerprint/hash could be preserved, this would be useful for mating the picture with its high-resolution original in a separate workflow.... I guess I have not just overlooked such option in the properties sheet of the control... :|

Hi - sorry you've sort of ended up talking to yourself here.... but I just don't know much about what InfoPath is doing to your pictures. I found a PDF of some documentation - not sure if this will contain anything helpful: https://interoperability.blob.core.windows.net/files/MS-IPFF2/%5BMS-IPFF2%5D.pdf
