I have an existing InfoPath form document library and in testing my conversion to FV noticed that when I use the JavaScript code to redirect the template to FV, editing the Web-part is view specific. I have a "Terminate" State in a form and for confidentiality reasons only allow forms in this State to appear in a view called "Restricted." There are some records viewable on both views ("Restricted" and "All Documents") so I edited the "All Documents" view with the JavaScript so that it would point to the FV version of the form. When I went to test a "Terminate" record (only available on the "Restricted" view, I was surprised that it displayed using the InfoPath template. So I opened another file that I had previously viewed in the "All Documents" view which had opened in FV and in this view, it opened in InfoPath.
I guess I'm just looking for confirmation that my observation is correct: the JavaScript in On-Prem SharePoint is document library view-specific. Thanks in advance.
