InfoPath Dev

Hi, I have a form webpart with a selector list next to it on a SharePoint Page. When I have the two connected the selector list sends the first row of data to the form on load (expected behavior), when I change the setting for the list to not send the first row of data to the infopath form webpart the form doesn't load at all and has a "broken message". Is there anyway to have the form appear but blank? I don't really like it loading prefilled with the first item, or showing an error message until an item is chosen. Thanks

Hopefully you've found a solution to this? I think you have to intentionally set the InfoPath form web part to get the data from that list - so it seems like this is something you would change in the web part connection if you don't want this behavior....
