user issue - can only attach one file to a browser form

    Hi Infopath devs

Wondering has anyone ever come across an issue where your users both have identical Permission groups on SharePoint but one user can only ever attach one file to the InfoPath browser form and the other user can attach more than one?

I have read elsewhere that users should have edit permission level to attach more than one file but this doesn't make sense as neither user in this instance have edit permission level.

I am getting around this by telling them to zip files if multiple attachments are required but very curious as to why this may be happening in the first place?

The helpdesk have said its a feature!
Joking but their response wasn't much better.
    Thanks!

What kind of form? List or library? I mean.... won't any user who uses the list edit form (if this is a list form) have to have edit rights?

I'm troubleshooting this site for someone else and that's what I initially thought, but they said they had a user group where the edit rights were removed but allowed them to add items to the list (it's not a library).
From further digging since post I see there are inherited rights but not sure exactly what and the user group the user is in definitely does not have edit rights so I'm thinking their new user group isn't actually doing anything at all

I just wanted to check if this was a genuine issue someone may have come across before so could rule out some things

Never mind I'll just keep digging and suggest stripping back to basics..

Ah, I guess a user could have add rights w/out edit - hopefully if someone else has seen this they can chime in.

I was searching for another topic and came across this one. I just recently discovered the same issue - only one file attachment allowed. I didn't see a solution or explanation/confirmation as to why...Any updates?

Is this a customized list form? Does this happen for all users or just some?
