is it possible to add repeating table in existing list? I notice that if I created a list then create a form using infopath the options of repeating table is not available. What I want to do is I can add multiple rows of data once they click the new item using repeating table.

If you start from InfoPath to design your list form, you have the option to select manage multiple items. So, open InfoPath designer, select SharePoint List as the type of form, and as you walk through the wizard, you'll see the option to manage multiple items.

What if the sharepoint list is existing already and you just need to customize it in form?

You have that option in the wizard - see attached screenshot.

Have you tried it? Yes, as you walk through the wizard, one option is to manage multiple items. This will make the main data source have a repeating group for the list item data.

I tried it but no repeating items under control

Oh, I see what you are saying now - no, you won't see that under the controls for any list form, because a list form isn't going to allow you to add another repeating structure to it - that just isn't supported by SharePoint lists. But the main data source will have a repeating group, which you can then use for repeating tables / sections.
