 Hi,

My InfoPath form has a title of request field (single line of text) with validation rule that allows only maximum 125 characters with no special characters in it. When the form is submitted, there is another hidden text field which will be set a field's value = (equal) the title of request field for the form name (unique one). However, once the form name is set after submitting the form, the user can have to ability to make edits for the title of request field with "NO" validation rule applicable at this point. That said, is it possible to clear out the validation rule for the title of request field after submission? Hope it makes sense.

You'll need another field for this - like a status field, perhaps that lets you know when the form has been submitted? Or perhaps your hidden text field gets set on submit, so it is blank until the first submit? If so - you could use that field in your validation rule - just add another condition that the validation applies only if the hidden field is blank.
