Apologies if in wrong area - mods feel free to move to the right place if necessary.

I have a form which needs to set a date field differently ( + x amount of days) dependant on which of three options is contained in a field.

This (review by) date field also needs to be able to be  updated over and over - for example if the form need reviewing on a monthly basis, it should update to the month after once it has been reviewed.

You'll need to use rules for this. On the field with the three options, add your logic for setting the date for each condition (i.e. field1 = new, do this, field1 = old, do that). You'll also need to add submit logic to update the date for your additional logic. Whatever the button or action in the form that is taken to indicate "reviewed" you can either use substring formulas to increment just the month, or addDays to add a set number of days (realizing, of course, that months are never a set amount of days - you could use a secondary data source for that, but then you run into the leap year issue).
