Ok, i am almost embarrassed to even asking this due to the version being so old, but here is my scenario.
We currently have both the QDABRA Web service and its associated DB's on a single virtual Win 2008 SQL 2008 server. We are moving to new offices so in preparation we have setup two new virtual servers, both running Windows Server 2016 with one running SQL 2016. We successfully copied over (not reinstalled) the QDABRA WebService and DB's to the relevant servers, amended the QDABRA web services web.config file. My infopath form connects directly to ithe new DB successfully enough and i have it referencing the Active Directory service from the new QDABRA web service so thats working ok. The problem is with my QueryDB elements on the form that i cant get working, it can see the new webservice ok, but it seems to be trying to be using old credentials to access the QDABRA DB. Be aware that the the new servers have different names.
Another thing i have noticed, when i query the new migrated Qdabrawebservice directly and go to the link to download the DBXL Administration Tool,.. when i run it, it is still referring to the current live instance and not the migrated one. We have tried simply reinstalling the DBXL from scratch but the v2.4 msi doesnt like the Windows Server 2016.
We dont use the document storage elements of DBXL,.. we simply use the Active Directory service and the QueryDB.
Any insight into what else i need to amend or configure would be appreciated.
NB: Actually not sure if its DBXL v2.4 .. seems to be saying v3.0.2015 (see attachment).
