You probably want to change that to plain text multi-line in SharePoint if you want to customize the font. The richest of all text is going to allow the users control over things like font when they are entering data. You will have to customize the form again!

Ohhh, ok I see what you mean. Ok I changed it back to plain text and now words are breaking again. Oh well ... this is how they've been seeing it and approving it, so maybe I'll leave it like this. At least I was able to put the bold back on and now I learned more about the various data type and control type trade offs.

Here's a screenshot of the SharePoint Column settings for the control that is working well in my environment (from my earlier screenshot) in case that helps. You might want to create a test list for yourself with columns of the different data types and a customized form - then you'd have a reference.

Ok - so if in my environment words don't break in half and in yours they do - that likely comes down to SharePoint updates, which, of course, is then a matter for your SharePoint admins....
