InfoPath Dev

Before I fight with this much longer, I would like to pose this question: should I expect to be able to draw a Section around pre-existing content? I have a large amount of content on a form that I now realize needs to be made potentially hidden, via a rule. Ideally I would like to draw a section around all of it and be done. Is that known to be impossible or no?

Not possible. Add your section then use cut and paste to paste the things you need to hide into it.

Oh and if you are trying to copy / paste from one table to another (like you have a whole table row on your clipboard) sometimes it helps to type some text in the target table row, then select the text, then paste the row that is on your clipboard. Sometimes it doesn't. InfoPath's layout table handling is a mystery. :)
