SharePoint Views of InfoPath Data Limited?

I have an InfoPath form that contains about 250 data fields of various data types, mostly text. When I go to SharePoint to create views of my data, a number of my data fields are not available in the Edit View screen.

I have specified in the form that these fields are available (via Form Library Columns).

The number of columns that SharePoint shows seems stuck at 117. The columns I cannot see are of various data types.

Am I running up against a SharePoint limitation of some sort?

Yes, SharePoint limits the types. For example, I think there are only slots for 16 dates. For a web-based view, you could use our Database Accelerator and Dashboard to display the data and export it to Excel.

    Thanks, Patrick.

Can anyone give me a more definitive answer? Knowledge of such limitations will guide our development of forms for which we wish to create SharePoint views.

Should be in the SharePoint SDK. Please look.

Here are the limits I found for SharePoint 2003:

    Sharepoint Services Limits

Hard Coded Site Limits for WSS (SharePoint Services)

    > 40,000 subfolders and documents - cannot delete (applies to a single folder. a single document library, a site or site collection)
    > 2 GB of information - cannot delete
    > 10,000 subfolders and documents - cannot rename
    > 500 MB of information - cannot rename

Lists cannot handle a lot of documents ( alot being over 1000 or 2000 documents)

For portal, if you have more than 30,000 documents in a library, the list will not be crawled correctly and no items will be retruned in the search results.

    Column Limits per List
    - support a maximum of 64 test fields in the SQL database per list
    - these are furthre limited as such:
    - 8 calculated fields
    - 16 lookup fields
    - 16 date/time fields
    - 16 yes/no fields
    - 32 number and currency fields
    - 32 multiline text fields
