Submitting form through Email Submit to multiple people in people picker

Hello! I have an InfoPath form which I am submitting to form library and Email submit (not an attachment). In data connection for form template, I am using two connections 1. Email Submit 2. SharePoint Library Submit For Email submit, in "To" filed, I am taking value from a people picker on form (which has multiple users). I am using double eval and Concat method to get all email address to submit. However, my formula is throwing error xdMath:Eval(xdMath:Eval(my:AdditionalPeople/pc:Person,concat(concat(substring-after(my:AdditionalPeople/pc:Person/pc:AccountId, "\"), "@abc.com"),";")')'),"..") I have two questions here: 1. Am I using the right approach to email submit the form to multiple people in people picker? 2. What am I doing wrong in the formula? I really appreciate any help on this.

Sorry I realized that I made a mistake in formula. Email submission worked with double eval method. Here is the function: xdMath:Eval(xdMath:Eval(my:AdditionalPeople/pc:Person, 'concat(substring-after(pc:AccountId, "\"), "@abc.com", ";")'), "..") Form is submitting through email successfully but I do see formatting issue in Email submission. Radio buttons have moved in email submit form. Please see the attachment. Did anyone else has the same formatting issue? How did it get resolve? Thank you!

I find email formatting to be a bit wonky. Usually I do something like have a special section that I send in my email where I've formatted things to my liking - often using expression boxes instead of radios, dropdowns or checkboxes. I'm attaching a very simple example - save the file locally, right click and select design to open in design mode.

Thank you so much for answering my question. Since I am new to InfoPath, I have couple of questions on that. The section which we'll send in email how data will be bound to fields that have values? With Expression box do you mean calculated filed? Where we'll put rules to trigger which section should appear when user opens a form and which section should come when email submits. I am not using Submit button. I have default 'Submit' option in ribbon.

You can change your submit to use rules - that is an option under the Data tab in the ribbon when the form is in design mode. Then you can do something like I have in the sample form - set a helper field prior to submitting that will hide the data entry section and show the "email" section. It looks from your screenshot like you are using browser forms, in which case you can go ahead and just switch views and send the email. When I said expression box, I mean a calculated value - sorry, expression box is the old (2007) name for that type of control. They can use formulas for their values. You can also use conditional formatting to show / hide them as well. This gives you more flexibility in your email view.

Good job! Glad you got it working - I've really found that to be a convenient technique. Sometimes there is other stuff you want to include in an email that you don't want in the "fill out the form" view or area, and just setting up for that in advance is useful. :)
