InfoPath Dev

My organization is leaning towards not using Nintex in SPO and i have been tasked with converting Nintex to Flow for Infopath forms and document libraries.  i cannot find any information even on how to create a flow that can send the site owners an email if a form is submitted with a field value.  Can Flow be used in an Infopath form library? 

I'm so glad you asked! Yes, it can - and we use it internally. In the triggers for Flow, when you start with the SharePoint trigger for when an item is created or modified, all of your lists are in the dropdown. But you can enter a custom value - just select that option and type in the name of your library.

 i am not a programmer at all...i am so lost.  i can do so much in Nintex.

The good news is, you really don't have to be a programmer to use Flow....It seems overwhelming at first because there is so much there, and it is all new, but once you dig in, you'll be surprised by what you can do. :)

 Whenever i use the address for my Infopath forms library, the flow says it cannot find the 'view' , i can make it in a custom list however.  I would be interested in a session to show how to connect a flow to IP forms library, and set to trigger on a value equaling a string..

One thing I didn't highlight and should have - use the Library Name for the name. So if the name is "Library Name With Spaces" that's what you'd use, not the value from the URL.

I was trying to paste the entire address of the Library in, and not just the name of the form library.  i couldn't open it on my Department of VA computer because of an unsupported address, but watched it on my home machine, as i am a teleworker.  i was successful in connecting to the form library, wrote a condition for an email to be sent, and it all worked perfectly.

One thing i don't like is not being easily able to email the site owners permission group; i don't want to have to create every group in Outlook.

Yeah - dealing with groups is a little tricky. It can be done - you can use a SharePoint HTTP request to get the members of the group, and then you can loop through them and add their email addresses to a variable. I'll try to walk through that later this week, and set up another quick video.
