 Hi all,

 I have to update an old form that was not created by me. After running the Design Checket before published I am getting the below warning message:

 

"Control sends data to server on insert or delete" 

 

Will I still be able to publish the form? Or is there any action I need to take to ensure the form works properly. Thanks in advance.

 

 

That is just an informational message, and you should be able to publish. Basically, you'll see this any time you have a repeating table or section, because the form needs to post back to render correctly. :) EDITED TO ADD: - you can also test publish to a different library just to make sure everything works as anticipated. Save a copy first, and publish your copy to a test library. If it publishes without issue, you'll know you can publish the original.

Thank you for your quick response. In regards to edited to add, if I save a copy wouldn’t that copy automatically be published to the same library? How would I go about testing in another library without having to update the manifest? Thanks again for your support

Don't use quick publish - instead, go to File > Publish. Select SharePoint, and walk through the wizard. One option is to create a new library.
