    Text Field Auto-truncating Leading Zeros Help

     Hi all

     I have added a text field where users can enter 4 chars max. I would like them to be able to enter 1, 01, 001, 0001 without InfoPath auto truncating the leading zeros. I have read some posts on here about adding zeros, but I just don't want the field to be corrected.

    I can't seem to reproduce this unless I set the data type of the field to a numeric data type, since numbers can't start with "0". Is your data type Text?
