Is it possible to display the Display Name instead of the Domain/User Name in a people picker field?

This 'John Moss' looks a lot better than this 'domain/jmoss '.

If you look at the data source for your people picker, one of the fields available should be DisplayName - is this not what is displayed in your people pickers in your form? Generally, that's what I've seen displayed - or are you showing the data somewhere else where you are seeing the domain and username?

 Of course, I should have remembered that.
