InfoPath Dev

I have created a InfoPath 2013 form and I am having issues with rich text box not expanding when the text goes beyond automatically. I have the property set to expand to show all text with wrap text selected. When I publish the form it shows the rich text fields with scroll bars. Can some one really help me on this please., I can drop my form here to check what I am doing any wrong.

Is this a browser or a filler form? If Browser, what version of SharePoint are you using? I'll see if I can repro this.

Hi Stoupa it is a list form, i have created a list and modified it in InfoPath form added the rules and other things. I am not sure whether it would be called as browser form or filler form. It is a InfoPath 2013 form on SharePoint 2016.

If it is a list form, it is a browser form. I don't have an on-prem SharePoint 2016 instance to test with, but I'll try this on our Office 365 instance today or tomorrow and see if it reproduces.

As long as I have the ribbon displayed, the rich text box expands in Chrome & IE for me on SharePoint Online. If I don't have the ribbon displayed, the RT box won't expand in IE and just about doesn't work at all in Chrome.

I just turned on that ribbon but the problem is I have a submit button already in the form. Users are clicking on the save and it is submitting the form without filling data when they are clciking on Save. Is there a way to turn the ribbon on and hide it using a script or so for save and close buttons?

Not to my knowledge - I think the ribbon in list forms is all or nothing.

but it is working fine in all other browsers without the ribbon being turned on..it does'nt work only in IE . Any thoughts?
