Hi, I'm trying to follow this tutorial on creating Parent/Child relationship: http://sharepointace.blogspot.com/2013/11/sharepoint-2013-online-parentchild.html I can't finish it because I don't understand these 2 parts: 1. 'First of all, you need to include jquery in your page header. There are multiple ways to do that and I leave this to you.' - how to do this? I'm a total newbie with jquery. 2. part: "Also in my script I use a 3rd party js file called Querystring to parse the query string, it is free:-) You need to include this js in your page header as well. alternatively you can use or write similar functions for your own choice.' - the link is not valid, so I don't know what script to use and how. I'm desperate to find the answers as this project is very important to me - would appreciate any help

 Hi! for the first question, you could add a script editor web part to your page with this:

Regarding point 1: I've pasted the script to Script Editor. But before that, just to test it, I've also pasted the link to Content Editor and clicked "Test Link" - it returned this error: tags are not supported in the HTML specified in either the Content property or the Content Link property. You can remove the tag, or use the Page Viewer Web Part, which supports the HTML tag. The Content property can be modified in the Rich Text Editor or Source Editor. More about the Page Viewer Web Part - Is this only because I've used Content Editor or will it cause any other problems? I intend to leave only the 'Script Editor's script of course, but it's confusing...

If you want to use a content editor web part instead of a script editor, you'll need put an HTML file somewhere on your site, include the script tag in the head, and point the content editor to that. Use the script editor.

ok, I think I'm closer now. I've pasted 1: the reference to the website with jquery-3.3.1.min.js and 2: a reference to querystring-0.9.0-min.js below. The last js code had been placed in a document library on my website. When I click "Edit Item" in the "Category" list, I get following error which I noticed in the F12 console: "Object doesn't support property or method 'QueryString'". {throw t} is marked red. Should I do something about it?

Yeah, something is going wrong there. You may want to just put the method from that querystring js file in your own script instead of importing it.
