    I have a Approved Date that is being created by Nintex Workflow.  Is there anyway either through the form or workflow to compare a date and determine what Fiscal Year it is (October 1 - Septermber 30) and give the output FY##?

    Well - you should be able to get month and day via substring operations and ascertain the FY from that in a form - see attached sample, save the file locally, right click and select Design then preview - not sure about Nintex, but I'm assuming the approved date is in proper XML format of yyyy-dd-MM
