InfoPath Dev

 I'm working with InfoPath 2013 and need to create a Validation rule to make a field required based on a specific value in a list box control. I've done validation rules before, but not one like this.

 Is this even possible?

Yeah, that should be - is this a multi-select list box? Save the attached sample locally, right click, select design, preview. Note the date is only required if you pick "orange" as an option in the multi-select.
