InfoPath Dev

Hi Everyone! I'm newbie using sharepoint and Infopath form development. I tried to collect the last value from a field in my repeating table, its not working. My intention is show to my admin how many times my repeating options was populated by the users. E.g: I have an area in my form where all users can add negociations. To indicate what negociation is that, I put in this form the NegociationNumber field. I want to my admin, for example, know that the doc had 5 negociations, if user had populated my repeating table 5 times. I tried to use last() function but it doesnt seems to work, and I dont know xpath formulas and functions yet to do some coding in this field. Are there any way to acompplish this? Thanks in advance. I could make it using max(fieldName) function. Thanks

You could have also used the count function, I think - but if Max works for you, that's great!
