I wish to upgrade 2007 web forms to 2013. I have two questions arising out of this. Do I need to save the forms as 2010 and then onto 2013 or can I just open them in 2013 and save them as a 2013 webform? Also do I need to remove the attached customized code or can this be left safely in-place. I understand that I will need to chang ethe data connections involved to point to our new platform Thanks for any advice

Your code will likely be an issue when you go from 2007 to 2013, as the object model has some changes. Do you have access to the source code to update it? You should be able to open with InfoPath 2013 in design mode, then try to save as 2013, and deal with the errors that crop up at that time.
