Reply Contact I'm assuming this is in the browser. Sometimes fields present in the Filler (Preview) in InfoPath have different names or aren't present in the browser. Drag the data fields for the connection onto the form and republish so you can see what's going on. Reply Contact Thanks. The results I'm getting back are: \sp-prd-portalap \SP-PRD-PortalAP \sp-prd-portalap CN=SP-PRD-PortalAP,OU=SP-PRD,OU=SharePoint,OU=Administration,DC=xxx=xxx Does that make any sense? 02-06-2018 02:06 AM In reply to darrenfloyd666 Joined on 11-08-2017 Posts 67 Re: Results from GetUserProfilebyName Connection not showing when form published Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact It's worth saying that when I use the GetUserProfilebyName with the People Picker on a form on the same site it works fine. Just on this form I want to automatically populate the Manager field and it isn't. 02-06-2018 07:36 AM In reply to Hilary Stoupa Joined on 06-20-2008 Posts 13,297 Re: Results from GetUserProfilebyName Connection not showing when form published Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Not really. The data fields from GetUserProfileByName usually have a name and a repeating value. Are you telling me those are the values you are getting back in the browser? If so - are you running the data connection on load of the form? Or are you setting the account id query field to the current user name and running it? The CN looks like a service account of some kind. Reply Contact Yes, those are the results I'm getting back in the browser and it's on the Form Load rule. I've attached the form. 02-06-2018 07:58 AM In reply to Hilary Stoupa Joined on 06-20-2008 Posts 13,297 Re: Results from GetUserProfilebyName Connection not showing when form published iPhoneAppRequestv4.xsn Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact I added a rule to first set the account name to the user name prior to running the query. I've also added the query field, a button to run the query, and the data fields on the form to help you troubleshoot. So - if you are using claims auth, there is a chance you'll need to remove some characters from the user name prior to setting the account field, but this at least lets you see what's happening, and you can try different values in the account id field without having to republish the form to test.
