Have an InfoPath form library where trainers write trainee evaluations daily and submit them to the library. We don't want trainees having access to that library, so I created a workflow that based upon a rule in the evaluation copies the form and moves it to a different library. In the new library the trainees have permission rights and supposedly access to the new (copied) forms.. The problem is apparently the permissions from the parent library follow the item/form? So even though they have permission to view items in the new library it won't let them open the actual form.
Fine, so created a new workflow in the new library that once a new item appears, using an impersonation step, I replace the permissions on the current item for specific sharepoint groups (the trainee group) to have read privileges, and they are still being denied access to view the items.
The only way it works is if the trainee's have read rights in both library's, I'm flummoxed, what am I doing wrong?.
