    this.MainDataSource.CreateNavigator() in IP 2003?

    Here's where I'm stuck. The IP 2007 c# table sort example from infopath team blog uses the

    XPathNavigator xn = this.MainDataSource.CreateNavigator();

    to get the xpath navigator object. To my knowledge the MainDataSource object is not available in the IP 2003 managed code solution. I'm guessing there's a workable conversion from the form's main or secondary datasource xml to an xpath compatable format so that the navigator can be created, but I'm not sure what that conversion is. I'm pretty sure it involves an appropriate namespace manager object and

    thisXDocument.DataObjects["tblProductionDefects"].DOM (?)

    but I can't seem to get it working.

    Thanks for any tips!!

    In IP03 you would use:

    IXMLDOMNode xn = thisXDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(XPath);
