I have a multiline rich text field that stores formatted text in a SharePoint list. When I look this data up from another list in the form all the formatting and style is stripped.

I am hoping someone can assist me. 

Yes, rich text can be tricky. If I recall correctly, if you display it in a calculated value, it will display as RT.... but if you are copying it into another field, there isn't an out of the box way to keep the formatting.
