Hello, I am trying to build a form that I can save on the network for people to fill and email. I am trying to have three dropdowns that the choices vary based on the picks. first dropdown has two options second dropdown options are different based on the first dropdown third dropdown options are different based on the first two dropdown picks. Have created a cascading dropdown that works for two, but I am having difficulty getting it to work for three. I am using infopath designer 2013. Thanks for the help.

So - what you need help with is populating Enclosure Size? Do you want that to be a dropdown too? Or should it just be set based on the other selections?

Based on the other two selections. It doesn't need to be a drop-down.

Ok - and right now you have the values for the first two dropdowns stored in the main data source of your form. Is that a design preference on your part? Or would an XML file in the form also be ok?

I really have no clue. Whatever is easiest to update in the future. The way it is now is just how the Microsoft Cascade walkthrough worked out. Thank you for the help. Boom

Got it - Okay, I'll pop this back up for you later today. I'm going to change your data source for these dropdowns to use XML & I'll include some info on how to update that in the future. I think that's a better design pattern. :)

Save the linked file locally (right click the link & save). Right-click the locally saved file and select Design to open in design mode. I typed in a bunch of info (with screenshots) at the bottom of the template for working with the XML resource file. :)
