How to keep results of hidden or filtered repeating table entries.

I have a repeating table that filters out rows based on other fields, that works fine. I want to take the filtered results and programmatically copy them to another repeating table or a concatenated text field, however when I do that it copies over the unfiltered data and basically ignores the filtered results. I feel like I am missing something obvious, sorry fairly new to infopath.

In your code, you need to add an XPath filter to select just the rows you want prior to copying them. So - let's say your filter is field1='apple', your XPath in your iterator would be "my:myFields/my:group1/my:group2[my:field1='apple']"

Ha! Well, that would have been a whole lot simpler. After I copied the table, I iterated through them and deleted the rows based on a condition. Will definitely use that next time, thank you for the help!!

One of the great things about XPath is being able to select only the nodes we need - so yeah, definitely add a filter next time. :)
