    Concat(substring-after) formula not sending email....

I have 3 InfoPath forms.  This week found out 2 are no longer sending out the e-mail to the submitter.  My data connection for e-mail to via Submitter People Picker field using AcctId which is (xxxxx\uxxx) is still producing an e-mail in first form built awhile back.  I'm under SharePoint/InfoPath 2013 and for e-mail utilizing Outlook (not sure which version either 2016 or the previous version).  When the save changes button is clicked it sends using data connection the e-mail to [email protected].  What I'm not sure of was there a change or a known issue with Outlook and InfoPath e-mail data connections or if there was an update in the forms from previous versions.  Any insight would be helpful for spent 2 days reviewing the forms, built out a test form piece by piece to find the break.  I will try to supply other information if needed but will state can not give out much for due to company I work for.  The formula in my data connection that I'm using is:

    concat(substring-after(AccountId, "\"), "@xxxxxx.com")

What has me stumped the most is how the one form is still functioning but a new form built the e-mail does not arrive.

Thank you for any ones insight.

If you take a look at the XML, is the AccountId still populated as anticipated, with domain\username?

     Hilary,

Thank you for responding.  I will check the XML and see if AccountID still populates as anticipated with domain\username.  From what I could tell when I hover over my name it shows domain\username which in my case is company name\UXXX.  Will respond tomorrow once back from work.  I appreciate again your response and I was hoping you would.  I have come to admire your insight and responses on this forum.

    Thank you again :-)

     Hilary,

Well come to find out XML is correct and nothing wrong with the three forms.  SharePoint and InfoPath are absolutely fine.  The issue come to find out today, after 3 days of sweating it out, is the company Active Directory is not working correctly.  So, I now am awaiting a call to clear up and have fixed the active directory to be pulling in our U Id's.  Best of all reason I didn't get any of the test e-mails is my U id comes back as not an active e-mail address..lol.

Appreciate as always your insight and guidance.
