Publishing InfoPath Forms with Secondary Data Connections to SharePoint Online

Our company is currently in the process of migrating from SharePoint 13 On Premises to Office 365 SharePoint Online.  We use InfoPath forms with external secondary data connections extensively in our environment and this has proven to be a challenge in working with SharePoint Online.  While using Azure to pull in data from the external sources, we are able to pull in the tables into InfoPath with no problem.  Performing the same steps as we always have. When previewing the form before publishing, the data is available in the assigned fields.  Everything looks fine.  However, when we publish to SharePoint Online the Error Message "Error occurred querying a data source" with Log ID 5566 and Correlation ID d808ee9d-60a7-3000-e1e9-0219659cda63 and the field with the assigned data connection is blank.  I have been able to make it work a couple of times but the next day, the connection is broken again.  No rhyme or reason.

I've spoken with Microsoft Support and they seem to be clueless and not able to provide a solution or the proper steps in making this work, just incase I'm missing something in the SPO 365 environment.  Has anyone seen this before in SharePoint Online with InfoPath 13?

These are straight SQL connections? To an Azure DB? Maybe try (in a test form) converting a data connection to UDCX if you are not already doing that.
