I have a form library, where the user clicks a button on the form, and a secondary submit data connection is triggered and the form is submitted to a secondary form library, while leaving the form open. This triggers a workflow to retrieve data back to the form. In order to pull the new data, I have another button (Query Button) that would query the data connection for the new information. However I would like to Hide this Query Button for approximately 10 seconds, to ensure that the workflow is given enough time to retrieve the data. Is this possible to do in an InfoPath 2013 Browser form, or are there any workarounds to achieve this?

 I'm not aware of a way to do this .... I'm wondering if it might be possible in code (if this isn't Office 365) but I can't think of anything out of the box.

I see a colleague of mine replied to you via email w/ a suggestion - I'm going to have him post his solution here as well.

Here's the sample form.

At the submit button, it triggers a centralized submit logic on the Submit node of the FormLogic group. Here you will see a set of actions. Basically, before the form submits, the action starts the timer, initiates the count, and gets the elapsed time.

The query button on the other hand only gets the elapsed time. We can perform other actions using the elapsed time as a condition.
