Separate data and email connections ?

I have a form that I would like to have two separate buttons on.  One button would only submit the data to the sharepoint list.  The other button would only email the current view to a recipient.  Via the Rules pane in the Data ribbon I have two rules that both run.  I'd like to somehow separate them.  I do not always want to email when the form is updated.

Also, in the email data connection I'd like the email To: field to be an existing queryfield from sharepoint (the field is a GAL lookup).  That doesn't seem to work.  If I select a datafield it does work.

    Thanks in advance

Don't make the buttons submit buttons, but use rules - set one to submit to the list, and the other to submit to email. Query fields don't have data in them, data fields do. :)
