Trying to create a list from multiple document librarys

    Hi - me again :O)

I am trying to populate a dropdown list based on the names of all the document library's within a sub site. If I create a data connection to SharePoint I get a "Select a list or library" which contains the information I'm after but these are all separate lists. How do I consolidate this list or do I need to query another part of SharePoint to retrieve this list?

     Thanks

Yeah, this gets a little tougher. I think you may be able to use a REST connection to get you partway there - http://yourserver/yoursite/_vti_bin/listdata.svc is the URL pattern. This will get back a list of all lists / libraries - but will also include some you don't want...

Sorry to be a pain, Im getting the following error when I try and access the published form

XML data that is required for this form to function correctly cannot be found.

Ive Googled and added the  DisableLoopBackCheck to the registry but I still get the error. Any thoughts?

Check your SharePoint ULS logs - anything there?

I don't think its possible given that its SharePoint Online (O365) unless Im mistaken?

Oh, sorry - you said you'd disabled loopback check so I assumed it was not O365. Unfortunately, REST is not supported in browser forms in Office 365. I don't think there is going to be a way to do this in O365 at all.

Yeah ... I'm not sure what other options you may have. I guess you could create a SharePoint list for your library names so you don't have to change the form when you add a library.... I'm wondering if you could use Microsoft Flow to maybe create new entries when new libraries are added to the site. You can set a Flow to run every x intervals, so you could have one that ran every night - I'm not sure if any of the SharePoint actions right now would be able to return a list of libraries / lists tho.

Again thank you for your help on this I shall look into the options. For now Ive created a combo - populated the list with names and obviously being a combo it will give the user the option to input their own content.
