    Field Definitions

    Hello,

I have a large InfoPath 2010 form that uses many fields.  Some of these fields get their data from calculations.  Is there a way I can list all of the fields in the form and any calculations for these fields?

    Thanks in Advance!

I would right click on the root node in the fields task pane, and select Rule Inspector - I just checked and in a large form with lots of calculated fields, it showed quite a bit of info, and you can print from there as well. See attached screenshot.

I am now writing a detailed/technical document on an InfoPath form I developed.  I would like to include a detailed description on all of the field properties including: field name, data type, default value, field calculations.  In a previous post, Hilary Stoupa suggested using the Rule Inspector (I did - THANKS!).  The problem I have with the Rule Inspector is it does not provide the data type and default values for all fields.  Is there any way I can get this information?

    Thanks in Advance

Well - I think you could combine a few things to get this information.... What about screenshots of the data source with "Show Details" selected to see the types? Otherwise, I'd save as source files and leverage the schema file for field names / data types (in NotePad ++ with the XML tools, you could probably create an XPath to return this data). Defaults are in two places - hardcoded can be found in template.xml, and calculations can be found in the manifest.
