    Programmatically Fire Event

    Hello,

I would like to fire the OnMergeRequest event when a form is opened. Is this possible and if so what is the syntax?

    Thanks

    Hi DTobias,
The OnMergeRequest event is fired when the user selects File->Merge Forms. To programmatically merge forms (without waiting for the user to choose File->Merge Forms), add code to your OnLoad handler that calls Import. Have fun!

If I call import and I have defined a custom merge for the InfoPath form will the custom merge still run or will it get skipped over?

    Thanks
