    Random error when submitting form?

    Hi!

    I have a strange problem with my infopath-form that is submitted to a sharepoint form library. It (what i think) randomly generates an error like this:

    The following error occurred:
    InfoPath cannot submit the form.
    An error occurred while the form was being submitted.
    The form cannot be submitted to the following location:
    http://someSite/guidFilename.xml

    The submit function is activated when the user press a save-button, and most of the times it works just fine.
    The code for the save button is:

    function SaveBtn::OnClick(eventObj){
    //First do some checks to look up values of some fields, then:
    var clicked = XDocument.UI.Confirm("Do you want to save this form?",1);
    if(clicked == 1){
    if(guid.text == ""){
    var g = "";
    for(var i = 0; i < 32; i++)
    g += Math.floor(Math.random() * 0xF).toString(0xF) + (i == 8 || i == 12 || i == 16 || i == 20 ? "-" : "")
    XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("//my:guid").text = g + "";
    }
    XDocument.Submit();
    Application.ActiveWindow.Close(true);
    }

    I have no idea why it occurs, has anyone had the same problem? Or does anyone know what may cause this error?

    Yes, the same thing happens to us and we have just had to ignore it. If the user closes the form, then tries again, it usually works.

    I'd sure like to know why. I suspect some kind of intermittant server unavailability.
