    How do I make my TaskPane Dynamic

    Dear Friends,

    I have added a Secondary DataSource in my InfoPath and I try to get the Value from the DataSource and display in the TaskPane. So My Data will be always dynamically... but I cant get the Value from that Data Source..

    I have tried with getElementsByTagName, SelectsingleNode.. but no result.

    Anyone can help me out!

    How can I make my TaskPane Dynamic using the Secondary DataSource.

    Regards,
    Vasanth.

    Hi vasanth,

    var thisXDocument = null;

    //Getting the secondary dom
    var secondaryDom = thisXDocument.GetDOM("SecondaryDataConnectionName");

    //Getting the node value from secondary data source
    var nodeValue = secondaryDom.selectSingleNode("NodeXPath").text;

    //NodeID is id of that field you need to display in taskpane
    NodeID.innerText = nodeValue;

    I Hope this will work for you

    Hi Shiva,

    Thank for your Reply... I have tried out with your code... its fine while process with one value... after I should have the control in the html file.

    But in my process... i have dynamic values...the webservice will return more value... How can I add control dynamically in the html.

    Regards,
    Vasanth.

    Check out this article -http://www.developer.com/net/article.php/3082431

    You can embed ASP.net into your taskpane.
