After I have make a webservice that make the transform with FOP after save it in a location and show the result (pdf) to the user! this last step is (I think) possible to make directly in infopath and without saving!
Other things is wait on office 2007 that make this possible!

In fact i've installed a pdf writer on thre computer and create a printpreview view in InfoPath, from this preview i've selected pdf printer has the view printer (check view properties)
And it's done, when you clic on the print bitton it print the file in a pdf...
You can bypass the print preview with a little bit of C# code to simulate the print order (print button in fact) but you'll get a pop up invinting you to input the destination pdf file (waht i don't want)
Hop it helps...
PS: The XSL:FO methode sounds good but a bit, humm, hard, enormous !
By the way could you post or email me your xsl:fo way to do the job, i'm curious o see that ;o)
