Hi,
I have an InfoPath form developed using C#. It references a dll I have created to collate common classes i will use in other forms. I have created custom buttons that will use code from this dll.
I have published the form to a shared directory. I have created a self-signed digitial certificate and ensured this used to allow full trust.
I have opened the form on another computer, installed the certificate into the Trusted Root Certificate Authorities folder (following the example in Developing Solutions with MS Infopath, Installing Digital certificates for untrusted cert authorities).
The form opens correctly, however when clicking buttons that use code in the dll i am getting the following error:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
....
at Microsoft.Office.Interop.InfoPath.SemiTrust. _ButtonEventSink_SinkHelper.OnClick(DocActionEvent pEvent).
I need to have this working ASAP, so any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
On another note. I am trying to test this on my laptop as well. However whenever i open the form after installing the certificate i get the following error:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException
File or assembly name Office, or one of its dependancies, was not found.
The form then loads correctly and when clicking a button using code in the dll, i get a System.NullReferenceException followed by the Object reference error (so these may be related???)
Thanks in advance for any help.
