    ListBox

    Hi, friends
    How can I to pass a text from a listbox for another listbox?

    In the InfoPath Designer ....

    Double click on the "from" listbox. Click Rules. Click Add. Click Add Action. Choose "Set a Field's Value". Click the icon next to the Field text box. Select the "to" listbox field. Click the fx button next to the Value text box. Click Insert Field or Group. Select the "from" field. Click OK 6 times. Preview.

    Of course this assumes that each listbox contains the same values. Otherwise, it won't set. So long as the "to" listbox has the values you are selecting from the "from", it will work.

    Hi lfadoidao,
    You need to write code if you want all the previous selected values to be shown in another dropdown.
    Here are the steps
    1. Create an xml with repeating nodes.
    2. Bind your second dropdown to this repeating node.
    3. Now add an onAfterChangeEvent to your first dropdown.
    4. In that method write code to insert a new node into the repeating nodes. Set your First dropdown selected value to the newly inserted node.

    I guess this is what you are looking for!

    Hi brinasaan,
    Welcome to the Forum!
    Do you want a create Repeating element in the InfoPath main dom? Then you can go to properties of the element and Check the "Repeating" checkbox, this will convert your node to a Repeating node.
    If you want to create a repeating node for secondary dataconnection, then you need to create an XML like this
    <Root>
    <Child/>
    <Child/>
    </Root>
    Now your child will become a repeating node.
