How to share a schema between forms ?

    Hi everybody ...

I have a project involving a few InfoPath forms, managed as VS.Net projects.

These forms share a common .xsd schema, but actually it's duplicated in each VS project: I wasn't able to find a way to declare it once, and have only references to it :-(

My idea would be having a VS "solution" including a VS "project" for each form, and a schema "Item" referenced by each form project.

Any clue on how to do That ?

    Regards,

    Hi AQX,
    Welcome to the Forum!
I dont know if there is a way to do this. I dont think it is really possible because when you start a InfoPath project InfoPath copies the schema from the existing place and do not refer to the old schema again at all. It always looks for schema in the local folder.
Probably one thing you can try is give the file path of the schema in the manifest.xml where schema.xsd is referenced.

Please let us know if it works. Thanks!
